Ecological psychology recognizes that we live with a complex and responsive planet that acts upon all life forms as much as we act upon the planet.
Problems nonhumans and humans face today, from climate disruptions to the destruction caused by biocide and culturecide are not new.
These intra-related problems stem from human narratives, behavior, and practices.
Viridis’ pioneering ecological psychology education examines how ecological-psychological processes reconfigure destructive narratives, behavior, and practices.
Viridis Graduate Institute inspires students to sense and engage the world differently. Through transformative online study in ecological psychology and environmental humanities, students acquire the necessary skills and confidence to thoughtfully and creatively address today’s challenges.
Thus, we nudge along accountable and responsible narratives supporting life’s symbioses and sympoietic flourishing of all nonhuman and human ecologies, and cultivate intra-active practices for society, organizations, and institutions.
What is at stake in a shared world calls for an ecological psychology education.
Our Programs Are Applicable, But You May Be Asking:
HOW CAN A DEGREE IN ECOPSYCHOLOGY HELP WITH MY CAREER?
Viridis graduates want their lives to make a real difference in their communities, organizations, institutions, and the world by offering creative, and collaborative solutions.
MA and DA Graduates in Ecological Psychology and Environmental Humanities practice as non-licensed ecopsychologists, and ecological psychology professionals, similar to environmental or conservation psychology professionals, cultural ecologists, and social or cultural ecologists.
